SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER, LONDON
Knots Rugs is an established luxury rug company looking to further develop its market reach in the UK territories. We are looking for a sales account manager, with experience in the UK high-end trade sales sector and with a proven track record in selling luxury furniture. You should be passionate and motivated to achieve yearly sales goals and have existing relationships with the interior design community. Our ideal candidate will be pro-active in communicating with and widening contacts within the industry and seeking out new opportunities to increase sales growth.
The position involves the handling and shifting of rugs and as such anyone applying for the role should be fit and strong and ready to help out in the showroom and taking the rugs out for viewings.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, develop and service existing accounts as well as identify and convert new account opportunities to achieve and exceed sales goals
• Seek out and build new relationships within the UK Interior Design community, including networking industry events for new contacts and leads
• Be pro-active in seeking out potential opportunities and business through designers social media accounts
• Develop extensive product knowledge in order to be able to advise clients on all aspects of rug qualities, materials, options and possibilities
• Coordinate with design team to present custom options for bespoke projects
• Be computer literate to be able to generate quotes and presentations
• Communicate with sample library manager to keep on top of all incoming and outgoing samples
• Provide excellent customer support and follow up where needed after project completion
• Manage sales pipeline and reports
• Be willing to work as a team to provide the very best service to prospective customers in order to maximise sales opportunities
• Assist in the showroom and be willing and able to handle rugs
• Have excellent written skills and verbal communication skills

• Social media awareness, in order to develop connections with interior designers and commercial opportunities
• Drivers licence
