Part of Knots Rugs Textures collection, Plain Solid is a hand-knotted rug with a 10/12mm pile, produced in Nepal using one single colour in 100% Muga silk. Muga silk is a type of wild silk, native of Assam and has a natural golden colour and glossy texture. The name Muga in Assamesa indicates the amber brown colour of cocoon. Belonging to the same family as Tussar/Tasar silk. In this case, the silk has been dyed to an aquamarine colour. Bespoke sizes and colourways are available upon request.
