Checkerboard | Charcoal 100% Silk reduces one of the simplest geometric structures to material, texture and light. A grid of dark charcoal squares creates the underlying rhythm, while subtle differences across the hand-woven surface prevent the geometry from feeling rigid.

This edition is made entirely from Wild Matka silk, a spun silk produced from shorter and reclaimed fibres. Its character is quite different from conventional filament silk: slightly more substantial and matte in appearance, with a restrained lustre rather than a high sheen.

That quality gives the charcoal palette unusual depth. The checkerboard reveals itself through shifts in texture and reflected light, creating a rug that is graphic from a distance and much more tactile at close range.

We hope you are very happy with your rug, but if for any reason you're not and wish to discuss an issue or simply return it, please contact us within 14 days of receipt. We will refund you in full to the original payment method used for purchase. This must be done for security reasons. Items must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging, otherwise no refund will be issued. All return costs will be borne by the buyer. Any returns outside of the UK will be at the buyers cost and risk and must be marked as returned item to avoid charges and delays.

All SALE items are final and are non returnable. Credit may be issued at the owners discretion.

1. Made to Order and Custom Rugs require a 50% deposit and 50% balance payment prior to shipping.
   
2. All in-stock items require 100% payment on receipt of invoice. 
3. We accept all major payment cards, plus trade customers can pay by bank transfer.
4. Please note our rugs are hand-made, tolerance 5-10% either way in colour and size can occur due to the production process. 
5. Production time varies according to the production method.
6. Orders are non-refundable or returnable unless there is a manufacturing fault with the rug. 
7. Custom orders incur a shipping fee to be calculated on weight and size prior to shipping.
8. All bank charges are the responsibility of the payer.
