Knots Rugs

Founded by Bonnie Sutton in 2007, Knots Rugs is a family-run business with a focus on original, contemporary design. Each of our rugs are hand-knotted by artisans in Nepal and India, using traditional techniques passed down through generations. It’s a slow, thoughtful and precise process, where every fibre is spun, dyed and knotted with unparalleled precision. No two rugs are the same and each one carries the imprint of the many hands that bring it to life.

From our London flagship showroom on the King’s Road, we invite you to explore a collection of rich textures, layered colours, and unexpected beauty. You can choose from our distinctive artist collaboration pieces, timeless in-house designs, or work with us to create a fully bespoke rug, tailored to your vision, your space, and your story. All our rugs are crafted using natural fibres such as Tibetan wool, silk, nettle, and hemp, materials chosen as much for their beauty as for their sustainability. Every rug is produced ethically and responsibly, in partnership with Label STEP.

We don’t believe in fast design. We believe in slow craft, in personal connections and in rugs that last a lifetime. Whether you’re drawn to something bold or something quiet, we’ll help you find a rug that feels like home.
