Isabel Marina × Knots Rugs

A new artist collaboration by Knots Rugs and Isabel Marina is launching this September

The collaboration originated when Knots Rugs’ Creative Director Bonnie Sutton visited the Alfonso Marina showroom ay the High Point furniture show in North Carolina and was struck by Isabel Marina’s paintings: richly layered works full of texture, movement and expressive colour. What followed was a natural meeting of creative minds. Together, Bonnie and Isabel began translating selected paintings into hand-knotted rugs, preserving the depth and emotion of the original works while giving them a new life through wool, silk, colour and weave.

The first three designs from the collection, Veiled Impressions, Uncertain Geometry and Beautiful Mess, were shown privately at High Point and received a wonderful response from designers, collectors and visitors to the showroom.

The full Isabel Marina × Knots Rugs collection will be released on September 7th.
